Nicola Kay

Nicky joins ISPH as Teacher of Science. Born in the UK she completed a Bachelor of Science in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry in Sheffield. Following graduation, she worked for a number of years in the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry before completing her PGCE. The change in career was inspired by a secondment to teaching in a nursing college where she realised the joy in passing on skills and knowledge.

Nicky has taught in good and outstanding British schools and is passionate about science and the natural world. She strongly believes in the value of holistic education and has a wealth of pastoral experience in schools and at home as a foster carer.

This is her first international post and is thoroughly looking forward to working with the staff and students at ISPH as well as experiencing life in Vietnam with her family.

Away from work Nicky enjoys keeping fit, reading and cooking as well as enjoying time with her young son.
