Ben Altit is a professional basketball player with extensive experience in the Israel Basketball Super League and the Israel National Basketball Team, representing various age groups including Under-18, Under-20, Olympic, and men's teams. Altit played for Maccabi Tel-Aviv Basketball Club from August 2013 to July 2015 and has been a professional player in the Israel Basketball Super League since 2013. In addition to basketball, Altit served in the Israel Defense Forces within Intelligence Unit 504 from January 2013 to January 2016 and held the position of Global Sales Manager at Arbox from October 2021 to October 2022. Altit holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Bryant University, completed in July 2013.

The Basketball Association is the superordinate body concentrating all the basketball activity in Israel by virtue of the Sports Law. The Association runs all the Leagues in Israel (under the Association, two independent leagues were created: Men's Super League and Women's Super League), and it likewise takes care of all Israeli teams, the registration of all the teams in the various leagues, the players, the coaches and so forth. Operating under the Basketball Association are the disciplinary committees and the Supreme Tribunal, along with the Association of Referees, who has gained full professional independence.
