Nathan Sheffer

Nathan Sheffer has extensive experience in geology and education, currently serving as the Head of the Geology and GIS Group at ICL Group since September 2011. Previously, Nathan held the position of Research Geologist and has lectured at Braude Academic College and The School of Tourism at Haifa University. Nathan's academic background includes substantial roles at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where Nathan served as a teaching assistant and research assistant from 1998 to 2009. Nathan holds a Postdoctoral degree in Groundwater Contamination from the Bureau of Economic Geology and a Ph.D. in Geology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, complemented by a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the same institution. Nathan's military service was with the Israel Defense Forces from 1992 to 1997.
