Ilan Ben Hamo is an experienced technology leader specializing in research and development, with a track record of founding and managing companies in the tech industry. Currently serving as Head of R&D at Israel Hayom since February 2023, Ben Hamo previously held the role of Head of Development at a stealth startup focused on AI algorithms for healthcare data analysis from May 2022 to January 2023. As the Founder and CTO of Okiano from 2014 to April 2022, Ben Hamo developed an automated AI solution for eCommerce and enhanced online classifieds through innovative technology integrations. Prior experience includes managerial positions at Playtech, where Ben Hamo established and managed casino delivery units, and significant contributions at Amdocs, including implementing Scrum methodologies and leading infrastructure and performance initiatives.
