Gregg Friedman

Gregg Friedman is currently the Vice President at ISSA Chicago. Gregg has over 9 years of experience in the information security industry.

Gregg started their career at Cisco in 2012 as a Security Product Sales Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for selling Cisco security products and services to enterprise customers. Gregg then moved on to Hexis Cyber Solutions, Inc. in 2014, where they served as the Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest region. In this role, they were responsible for managing and growing the sales team, as well as developing new business opportunities.

In 2016, Gregg left Hexis to join Securion as the Security Sales Manager. In this role, they were responsible for leading the sales team and developing new business opportunities. Gregg then left Securion in 2018 to join Trustwave as a Security Account Executive. In this role, they were responsible for bringing security services to enterprise customers. Gregg left Trustwave in 2021 to join ISSA Chicago as the Vice President.

Gregg Friedman's educational career includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from Rutgers University, as well as a degree in International Business from Northwestern University. Gregg also spent a summer studying art and Spanish culture at the Universidad de Salamanca.
