Ulf Munack

Ulf Munack has extensive work experience in pricing, product management, and market access in the pharmaceutical industry. Ulf started their career at Simon-Kucher & Partners, where they served as a Director from 1999 to 2004. From 2005 to 2023, Ulf Munack worked at Boehringer Ingelheim, holding various roles such as Head of Global Pricing, Contracting & Tendering, General Manager and Head of Human Pharma in Norway, Head of Market Access for Mid-Size Countries in Europe, Global Marketing Team Lead for Respiratory, Senior Product Manager for Diabetes and Cardiovascular, and Sales Representative for various medications. Ulf then joined ista in 2023 as Head of Pricing and Product Management.

Ulf Munack received their education from various institutions over the years. In 1993, they started studying at Technische Universität Berlin, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration and Electrical Engineering, earning a Dipl.-Ing. Ulf continued their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1997-1998, focusing on Marketing, Pricing, Statistics, and Business Policy. In 2009, Ulf attended Akademie für Pharmaberufe and obtained a State Certified Pharmaceutical Rep degree. Additionally, they engaged in Executive Education at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in the field of Health Economics and Beyond in 2005.
