Nasuh Uslu

He was born in 1966 in Izmir. He completed his primary education in İzmir and his secondary education in Manisa. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations in 1988. He completed his master's degree (1990) in the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Birmingham in England, where he went on a scholarship from the Ministry of National Education, and his doctorate (1994) at the Center for Middle East Studies at Durham University.

In 1995, he started to work as an assistant professor at Kırıkkale University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations. He received the title of associate professor in March 2005 and professorship in May 2010. Assistant dean at Kırıkkale University between 2009-2010, He served as the Director of the Institute of Social Sciences between 2010-2011 and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences between 2011-2014.

After working at the Police Academy between January 2015 and August 2015, he was the Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences from October 2016 to January 2018 at Ankara Social Sciences University, where he transferred in August 2015. His main fields of study are Turkish-American relations, Cyprus problem, Turkish foreign policy, US foreign policy and Middle East studies.
