Anita Guelfi

Anita Guelfi currently serves as a Senior Expert in the Technical Secretariat of the Minister at the Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze since April 2023. With a robust background in economic analysis and research, Anita has been a Senior Researcher at the Italian National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) since December 2017. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Consultant in Applied Economic Analysis at the World Bank from March 2013 to December 2017, and positions at ISTAT and the Institute for Economic Studies and Analyses (ISAE) focusing on labor market, education, and social protection issues. Starting in 2001, Anita worked as a Labour Market Analyst and Forecaster at Confindustria and began as a Research Assistant at the International Labour Organization (ILO) in 1998. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in History and Theory of Economic Development from LUISS University and a post-graduate diploma in Economics from the Institut fuer Hoehere Studien in Vienna.
