Alexis Menocal Harrigan

Alexis Menocal Harrigan serves as the Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships at ISTE since September 2023. Previously, Menocal Harrigan was the Director of Institutional Partnerships at Code.org from May 2018 to September 2023, where responsibilities included fostering relationships with industry partners and managing the CEOsforCS initiative. Earlier roles included Senior Director of State Government Affairs at Code.org, where over $50 million in funding was secured for K-12 computer science, and Education Policy Advisor for Governor John Hickenlooper. Menocal Harrigan has also served in various capacities in government affairs, including a city council aide and constituent advocate for U.S. Senator Michael Bennet. An MPA in Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver and a BA in International Studies and Religious Studies from the University of Denver complement Menocal Harrigan's extensive experience in education policy and government relations.
