Timo Vahakoski

Timo Vahakoski is an experienced professional in communication and project management with a strong background in the IT and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as Group Manager for Communication Services at Istekki Oy since March 2020, Timo directs a team focused on customer communication services. Previously at Tieto from September 2007 to March 2020, Timo held various managerial roles, including Manager of Project Management, where responsibilities encompassed leadership, resource management, and project portfolio oversight to ensure customer satisfaction. Timo also served as a Senior Technical Project Manager and held multiple managerial positions related to telecom services and R&D initiatives at Nokia Siemens Networks from May 1999 to August 2007. Timo Vahakoski earned a Bachelor of Science in Automation Technology from Tampere University of Applied Sciences between 1988 and 1992.
