James Pattullo

James Pattullo is a seasoned landscape architect with extensive experience, currently serving as a Board Member for the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects Tuia Pito Ora since June 2024. With a tenure at Isthmus Group Ltd beginning in April 2013, James has progressed through various roles, including Associate, Senior, Intermediate, and Graduate Landscape Architect. Previous leadership experience includes serving as Chair of the Wellington Regional Branch of the NZILA from November 2014 to January 2017, where responsibilities included liaising with the national executive and acting as a Content Advisor for communication strategies. James also contributed to academia as an Academic Tutor and Lecturer at Victoria University of Wellington in early 2013, teaching design communication and landscape architecture theory. Early career experience includes an analyst assistant role at the Ministry for the Environment from January 2010 to December 2011. James holds a Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Landscape Architecture), both obtained from Victoria University of Wellington.
