Ralph Johns has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. ralph started their career as a Landscape Architect at Camlins in 1999, where they worked until 2001. From 2001 to 2006, Ralph was a Senior Lecturer in Landscape Architecture at Victoria University of Wellington, where they were involved in the development of the curriculum and taught extensively. In 2006, they joined Isthmus Group Ltd as a Director and later became the CEO in 2013. In their role as CEO, Ralph focused on advancing the company's culture and defining its purpose and values. ralph also brought a design-led perspective to the role, combining hands-on design thinking, management experience, and strategic vision.

Ralph Johns completed their BSc in Building Environmental Engineering at the University of Bath from 1987 to 1991. Following this, they pursued an MA in Landscape Architecture at The University of Sheffield from 1997 to 1999. Ralph's educational background is thus focused on Building Engineering and Landscape Architecture.
