Giulia Cuman

Giulia Cuman is a legal expert and policy adviser currently serving in the Italian Senate and has a diverse range of roles in various organizations. As a Legal Expert/Policy Adviser, Giulia focuses on law drafting and review at the Senate and within the Italian Government's Technical Department for disability rights. Giulia also functions as a researcher in the National Research Project PNC TT NETWORK and as a Contract Professor in bioethics at the University of Padova. Additionally, Giulia serves as the President of the Research Ethics Committee at Istituto Oncologico Veneto IOV - IRCCS and works as a jurist-bioethicist within the Paediatric Clinical Ethics Committee and the Research Ethics Committee at Azienda Ospedaliera Padova. Educational qualifications include multiple Master's degrees in Bioethics and Law, with ongoing doctoral studies in Bioethics/Medical Ethics at Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Giulia has also been involved in rugby as a player since 2012.
