Filip Christiansen is a PhD student at Karolinska Institutet, focusing on AI-driven decision support in ultrasound diagnosis of ovarian lesions. With extensive experience in developing deep learning models and systems in the medical field, Filip currently serves as Head of Machine Learning at Intelligyn, leading the development of an AI-based diagnostic support system while ensuring model validation and integration into clinical workflows. Additional roles include being an Editorial Board Member and Scientific Reviewer for the ISUOG journal, and recognition as one of the top ten students in Engineering & Technology in Sweden by Nova Talent. Filip’s past experience encompasses roles in multiple tech and engineering companies, significantly contributing to projects involving computer vision, machine learning, and data processing. Education includes a Master's in Machine Learning from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and ongoing doctoral studies in Medicine at Karolinska Institutet.
