Meng Xu

Meng Xu is an experienced Autonomous Driving Development Engineer at Isuzu North America, having worked there since April 2019. Prior to this role, Meng Xu served as a Research Assistant at Oakland University from September 2014 to April 2019, focusing on Li-ion battery modeling and optimization algorithms. Previous experience includes a position as a Battery Research Intern at BASF, contributing to cell design projects and enhancing energy density of Ni-based cathodes, as well as research roles at Beijing Jiaotong University, where work involved thermal modeling for EV batteries and cooling systems. Early career experience includes HVAC engineering at China State Construction, contributing to commercial building projects. Meng Xu holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University and a Master's degree from Beijing Jiaotong University.
