Daniel Villarreal has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. Daniel has held various roles in different companies, starting with their current position as a Client Systems Administrator at Resource Management Concepts, Inc., where they support the U.S. Navy's Digital Networks & Applications Research, Development Training and Evaluation Division. Prior to this, they worked as an Information Systems Security Manager and Network Support Technician at ISYS Technologies, where they were responsible for developing and deploying program information security policies and providing customer assistance on IT and communications issues. Daniel also worked as a Cybersecurity Sensor Technician at CyberQRT, a Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator at New Directions Technologies Inc., and an Information System Security Engineer at OpalSoft. Additionally, they have experience as a Biometric Systems Administrator at Xator Corporation and Ideal Innovations, Inc., and as an I.T. Systems Administrator at i.e.Smart Systems, LLC. During the same period, they also attended MyComputerCareer.Edu and earned a Microsoft MTA (Windows Operating Systems Fundamentals) degree and an MS MTA (Networking Fundamentals) degree, both in the field of Microsoft Certified Professional. Daniel also obtained a CompTIA (Network+) certification.

Prior to these certifications, in the years 1988 to 1995, Daniel attended Texas A&M University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Military History.
