Ian Slade

Ian Slade has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ian is the founder of HPMA, an IT consulting group, and has held various leadership roles at HIMSS, including National Chair of the HIMSS Chapter Advocacy Task Force and Vice Chair of the Western Region Chapter Advocacy Roundtable. Ian has also served as an Executive Board Member and President of HIMSS Southern California, where they were instrumental in growing the chapter's membership and promoting diversity. Prior to their roles at HIMSS, Ian worked as a Project/Program Manager at Hoag Hospital and as a Senior Clinical Adoption Specialist at City of Hope. Ian also has experience as a Clinical Process Consultant at Picis, where they led a national anesthesia documentation project and provided IT guidance for healthcare implementations. Ian began their career as a Registered Nurse at St Joseph Hospital and St Jude Medical Center.
