Elena Zavala

Elena Zavala is a Junior Software Engineer at ITTI Digital since May 2023, with prior experience as an IHAWKe Ambassador, KUEST ONE Ambassador, and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Kansas - School of Engineering from June to December 2021. During the tenure as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, Elena developed and tested reinforcement learning prototypes for the Amazon Web Services DeepRacer and educated new undergraduates on training reinforcement learning models for autonomous driving. Elena holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kansas - School of Engineering (2019-2022) and participated in a Study Abroad Exchange Program in Computer Science at UNSW. Elena completed secondary education with a High School Diploma in Basic Sciences and their Technologies at Colegio Internacional, Asunción, Paraguay (2012-2015).
