Rikard Örtendal

Rikard Örtendal has a diverse background in information technology consulting and project management. Rikard has worked as a Project Manager and Requirements Analyst at IT-HUSET, handling projects for clients such as The Swedish Police Authority and The Swedish Parliament. Prior to that, they were self-employed as an Information Technology Consultant, specializing in web and online media solutions for clients including Microsoft and AstraZeneca. Rikard also served as an Information Technology Specialist for the Swedish Armed Forces. At Microsoft, they held various roles including Program Manager and Technical Consultant, managing integrations and solutions for MSN.se. Rikard also worked as a Technical Architect at Metro International. Rikard has extensive experience in requirement analysis, writing specifications for developers, managing development teams, testing, and database development. Rikard has worked on projects for global companies like Microsoft and AstraZeneca, as well as for organizations such as Bokförlaget Natur & Kultur and LRF.

Rikard Örtendal completed their education in a variety of fields and institutions over the years. From 1991 to 1994, they attended Katrinelundsgymnasiet, where they studied Economics. Subsequently, they enrolled at Mid Sweden University from 1996 to 1998, focusing on Informatics, Media and Communication Science, as well as Political Science. Continuing their academic journey, Rikard joined the University of Gothenburg from 1998 to 2000, specializing in Informatics, Media and Communication Science. More recently, in 2019, they attended Levla, where they achieved certification as a Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
