Kara Altbaum

Kara Altbaum has a diverse work experience spanning different sectors. Kara served as the CEO of IT Mentor Group, Inc., specializing in Enterprise Architecture and Design for both commercial and Department of Defense clients. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of the business, from employee performance to company growth through contracts and industry partnerships. Additionally, Kara worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at IT Mentor Group, where they managed IT projects, monitored schedules and budgets, and supported overall operations and business development.

Outside of IT Mentor Group, Kara also served as a Board Member at SDMAC Foundation, where they promoted awareness and understanding of national defense and supported the military community in San Diego through programs and initiatives. Prior to their career in IT, Kara worked as an Educator at Gompers Preparatory Academy, and earlier served as a Marine Engineer in the United States Marine Corps.

Kara Altbaum obtained their Master's degree in Cross Cultural Education from National University from 2007 to 2009.
