Troels Thorsen

Troels Thorsen began their work experience by working as a Studenterprogrammør at Triscan a/s from May 2013 to March 2015. In this role, they developed a .NET based database system using C#, WPF, and SQL Server.

From February 2015 to June 2018, Troels worked as a Software Developer at twoday IT Minds. Troels'sresponsibilities included developing and testing in-house projects, providing consultancy services to clients, and facilitating customer dialogue to ensure the best possible solutions.

In June 2018, Troels took on the role of Team Lead at twoday IT Minds. Troels managed a team of 22 individuals, dedicating approximately 40% of their time to team management and the rest to software development. Troels'sduties included ensuring the happiness and productivity of their team, daily management tasks, providing feedback and professional support, and handling administrative tasks such as hiring, salary interviews, contracts, and promotions.

In October 2017, Troels became a Co-Founder of Anglers Grove. Troels'sfocus was on developing frameworks and tools for web development, specializing in Spring Boot, Java, PostgreSQL, and Vue. Troels actively collaborated with customers to create affordable and high-quality fishing and outdoor trips.

Troels Thorsen holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Aarhus University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Aarhus University from 2011 to 2014. Troels also attended Haderslev Katedralskole from 2007 to 2010, but the degree obtained is not specified. Additionally, they hold a certification as a DB2 Academic Associate in DB2 Database and Application Fundamentals from IBM, obtained in 2012.
