Alejandro Canola has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and data governance. Alejandro started their career as an IT/Business Analyst at Discovery Communications, where they coordinated project management efforts for international branches. Alejandro then moved on to Citi, where they held multiple roles, including Regional Information Security Officer and LATAM Decision Management & Data Governance/Quality Regional Officer. Alejandro was responsible for managing, implementing, and overseeing information security programs and data quality programs throughout Latin America. Recently, Alejandro served as the VP & Information Security Officer and now US Head of Information Security at Banco Itaú International. Alejandro has significant expertise in analyzing and implementing risk assessment programs, content monitoring rules, and data quality measurement programs.
Alejandro Canola completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from DeVry University between 2003 and 2006. Later, between 2011 and 2012, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from Florida International University - College of Business.
