Fredrik Juhlin

Fredrik Juhlin has over 15 years of experience in clinical operations and management within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, they serve as the Director of Clinical Operations at ITBMed. Prior to that, they held the position of Clinical Operations Director at Calliditas Therapeutics AB for over 5 years, where they were responsible for developing high-value products for patients with unmet medical needs. Juhlin also served as the Clinical Operations Director at Pharmalink AB for 5 years. Before joining Calliditas and Pharmalink, they worked as a Senior Clinical Research Manager at Pharmalink, where they led global clinical study teams and ensured compliance with procedural documents and regulations.

Juhlin's previous experience includes roles at PPD, AstraZeneca, Pharmacia Sverige AB, and Pharmacia & Upjohn. At PPD, they served as the Country Manager for Sweden, Norway, and Finland, overseeing the study start-up team and activities. Prior to that, they were the Clinical Start-up Manager for the Nordic region, responsible for coordinating the study start-up team and activities in all Nordic countries. Juhlin also has experience as an Associate Clinical Manager, Clinical Team Manager, and Senior Clinical Team Manager.

Before joining PPD, Juhlin worked at AstraZeneca as a Study Delivery Leader, managing the global delivery of clinical trials. At Pharmacia Sverige AB, they worked as a CRA, monitoring clinical research activities in various therapeutic areas. Juhlin began their career at Pharmacia & Upjohn as a Laboratory Engineer, where they performed pharmaceutical development work and optimized the stability of products.

Fredrik Juhlin began their education journey in 1990 when they enrolled at Uppsala University. Fredrik pursued a Master of Science in Pharmacy program, specializing in the field of Pharmaceutics. Fredrik dedicated four years of their academic life to Uppsala University, completing their degree in 1994.
