Karunesh Bajaj has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Karunesh started their career in 1994 as a Manager in Corporate Communications at Shriram Industrial Enterprises Limited. Karunesh then joined ITC Limited in 1997, where they held various leadership positions in Marketing and Sales. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as the Head of Brands for Bharti Retail Limited. Karunesh then returned to ITC Limited in 2011 and served as the Brand Group Head for Biscuits until 2013. From 2013 to 2020, they held the position of Head of Brands & Merchandising in the ITD division at ITC Limited. Karunesh was later promoted to the role of Executive Vice President of Marketing & Exports in the same division. In 2020, they briefly worked as the DY Chairman at Audit Bureau of Circulation. Their impressive work experience demonstrates their expertise in marketing, branding, and sales.

Karunesh Bajaj attended The Doon School from 1985 to 1991 where they pursued Economics. Karunesh then went to Delhi University from 1991 to 1994 and obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics. From 1995 to 1997, they attended Symbiosis Institute of Business Studies - SIBM where they completed their MBA in Marketing. In 2004, Karunesh attended The Wharton School where they undertook a Management Program focused on Business Strategy.
