Marie Smith

Marie Smith is an experienced human resources professional with a robust background in various HR roles. Currently serving as the Head of Human Resources & Payroll at Itchen Sixth Form College since April 2023, Marie has previously held positions such as Human Resources Director and Head of Human Resources at Gosport and Fareham MAT from March 2018 to October 2022. Additional experience includes roles as an HR Advisor and Employment Law Consultant at Judicium Education and a Human Resources Training and Development Specialist at NAHT from September 2014 to March 2018. Marie's early career features extensive teaching experience as an A-Level Law Lecturer at Peter Symonds College and Oaklands Catholic School & Sixth Form College. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Law - LLB from Oxford Brookes University and a Graduate Teacher Programme in Law & English from the University of Southampton.
