Andrea Hawkins

Andrea Hawkins is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching across various grade levels, primarily in self-contained classrooms. Currently teaching at Duncanville ISD and Kingdom Collegiate Academies since 2023 and 2019 respectively, Andrea specializes in foundational subjects for 2nd and 3rd grades, enhancing learning through engaging extracurricular projects. Andrea has served as a Course Instructor for the iTeach Online Teacher Certification Program since 2021. Previous teaching roles include Oklahoma City Public Schools and The Canterbury Episcopal School, where Andrea focused on integrating technology, differentiated instruction, and arts into the curriculum. Earlier administrative experience includes directing a preschool program at Fellowship Christian Academy and fostering academic leadership. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma and a Master's in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, alongside completing professional development in teaching methodologies and best practices.
