Ross Petty began their work experience as a Recruitment Consultant at The People Connection in 2008, where they specialized in executive search and selection for senior financial positions. In 2009, they transitioned to Itec South Africa, serving as an Account Manager for two years. Petty then joined Dimension Data Middle East and Africa in 2011, where they held multiple roles including Vertical Team Lead in Enterprise Sales and Sales Manager. During their time at Dimension Data, Petty was responsible for managing a sales team, developing sales strategies, and reporting to the executive team. In 2019, Petty returned to Itec South Africa as the Managing Director and Shareholder of Itec Converge.
Ross Petty attended Empangeni Christian School from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained their Matric with full University Exemption. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree specializing in Commercial Law and Economics at UNISA.
