Hazem Gomaa

Hazem Gomaa, PhD, serves as the Software Development Manager at iTel Networks Inc. since February 2021, where responsibilities include leading the Software Team to ensure high-quality software releases and overseeing design sessions for new features and API integrations. Concurrently, Hazem is an Adjunct Instructor at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, teaching Object-Oriented Programming in Python and Java. Previous experience includes positions such as Director of Software Development at Showpass, Lead Software Engineer at Trimac Transportation, and various roles as a Software Developer in different companies. Hazem holds a PhD and an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary, along with a BSc from Alexandria University. Extensive technical expertise encompasses C++, Python, and various frameworks and databases.
