Noémie Wald

Senior Research Scientist, Tissue Biomarker Lead at iTeos Therapeutics

Noémie Wald has a diverse background in biomedical research. Noémie started their career as a Ph.D. Researcher in Bioengineering at Université Libre de Bruxelles, focusing on oncology, imaging, melanoma, and immunology. Noémie specialized in using FTIR imaging as a new histopathological technique to characterize melanomas and their immune microenvironment. During this time, they authored five publications in peer-reviewed journals and gave an oral presentation at an international congress.

After completing their Ph.D., Noémie joined Ludwig Cancer Research as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they were involved in a research group focused on clinical tumor biology and immunotherapy. Noémie'swork centered around immuno-oncology, tumor microenvironment, melanoma, and immunotherapies. Noémie possessed technical skills in multiplex ImmunoFluorescence, Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization, flow cytometry, cell culture, and ELISA assays. Additionally, they were proficient in software such as Flow Jo, GraphPad Prism, Inform, Imagescope, and Definiens.

Currently, Noémie is working at iTeos Therapeutics. Noémie initially served as an Associate Scientist in the Translational Medicine team, where they focused on antibody validation, IHC, IF multiplexing, WB, target screening, TMA, and image analysis. Noémie also utilized instruments like Autostainer and microscopy. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Research Scientist, Tissue Biomarker Lead. Noémie'swork involves technical development and biomarker strategy.

Noémie Wald's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Université libre de Bruxelles, obtained between 2011 and 2015. Noémie also holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering from the same university, completed between 2006 and 2011. Additionally, they attended Brussel Education Center CVO for English language studies.
