Emmanuel CARLIER is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on nuclear projects. Currently serving as the Design Integration Section Leader at the ITER Organization since August 2017, Emmanuel previously held several key project management roles at AREVA from 1998 to August 2017, including Project Manager for the EPR project in Taishan, China, and the RJH research reactor project. Emmanuel's extensive background includes leadership positions such as Layout Manager, Commissioning Manager, and Engineering Department Manager, overseeing large teams of engineers. Early career experience includes working as a Nuclear Engineer at Assystem from 1994 to 1998, with expertise in fluid system design and commissioning. Emmanuel holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Mechanical Engineering and Maintenance Technology from ESSTIN and has also studied at Queen Mary University of London.
