Gary Taylor

ITER Scientist Fellow

Gary Taylor is a Senior Physicist at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) with over 45 years of experience in Nuclear Fusion research as an experimental research scientist. They have collaborated with large teams of scientific and engineering experts, enhancing their skills in research, microwave system design, plasma physics, and project management. Currently, as an ITER Scientist Fellow, Taylor consults on the design of microwave plasma diagnostics at the ITER facility in France, working alongside scientists and engineers from over 35 countries. Taylor earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from The University of Manchester and a Ph.D. in Laser Physics from the University of Oxford.
