Lionel Rigaux

Lionel Rigaux has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as the Head of Finance & Accounting at ITER Organization since February 2008, where responsibilities include accounting, treasury, and systems. Prior roles include Acting Head of Finance and Budget Division at the European Food Safety Authority from January 2003 to February 2008, and Head of Accounting at the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union from August 1999 to September 2003, focusing on ERP implementation and business intelligence. Early in the career, positions included Financial Assistant at the European Medicines Evaluation Agency and Financial Software Consultant at COMPUTERLAND SLM Belgium. Education includes a Tax Law/Taxation degree from Chambre Belge des Comptables and an accounting and tax management degree from HEPL.
