Marek Suscak

Marek Suscak is a software engineer who currently works as Head of Engineer at Iterate.ai. Marek has previously worked at Chute and Angie's List.

Marek has designed and developed several product features end-to-end, and authored an open-source, byte-sized date-time library. Marek has also developed a cross-browser extension for Chrome and Safari. During their time at Angie's List, Marek was involved in the architectural decisions mainly regarding the migration of React, React Router and some other libraries to their latest major versions. Marek also worked on the UI performance, site accessibility and compatibility tweaks. Marek was able to significantly reduce the time to build from 30 seconds down to ~4 seconds, and tune the rendering performance of long lists of messages.

Marek Suscak has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Technical University of Košice and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same school.
