Yan Gao

Yan Gao has a strong background in algorithm development and image processing engineering. They started their career at Odetics, Inc Beijing Office as a Research Engineer from August 1996 to May 1997. Following this, they joined Odetics, Inc as an Image Processing Engineer from May 1997 to January 2001. Upon leaving Odetics, Inc, Yan Gao joined Iteris, Inc as an Image Processing Engineer from January 2001 to January 2004. They then took on the role of Sr. Image Processing Engineer at Iteris, Inc from January 2004 to May 2011. Afterward, Yan Gao became the Algorithm Development Manager at Iteris, Inc from June 2011 to March 2022. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Algorithm Development at Iteris, Inc from June 2021.

Yan Gao's education history starts with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which was obtained from Southeast University between 1986 and 1990. Subsequently, Yan Gao pursued a Master's Degree in the same field at Xi'an Jiaotong University, from 1990 to 1993. Following this, Yan Gao attended Xi'an Jiaotong University once again, enrolling in a Doctoral Program specializing in Computer Vision and Machine Learning for three years, from 1993 to 1996.
