Duarte Pedreira

Duarte Pedreira is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in trade and working capital finance. Currently serving as the Global Head of Trade & Working Capital Finance at Crown Agents Bank since August 2016, Duarte has held various pivotal roles, including Senior Advisor - Trade Finance at Alisandu Capital Management and Head of Client Coverage for International Development Organisations. Active in the International Trade and Forfaiting Association (ITFA) since September 2017, Duarte contributes as a Board Member and leads the Institutional Relations and Emerging Leaders committees. Duarte has also held key positions at prestigious institutions such as AIG, Standard Bank Group, and Banif Bank, and has been a Trade Finance Guest Lecturer at Bayes Business School since May 2019. An educational background includes a Master of Science in International Securities, Investment and Banking from ICMA Centre, a Certified Fintech Practitioner designation, and a Licenciatura in Business Administration from ISCTE Business School.
