Leslie Ackerman

Leslie Ackerman is a Community Housing Trust Manager at Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services Inc. since September 2019. Prior to this role, Leslie operated as a freelance consultant under Leslie Ackerman Consulting from January 2016 to September 2019, providing coaching, mentoring, financial guidance, and business planning assistance to small businesses and organizations. From July 2002 to December 2015, Leslie served as the Business CENTS Program Director at Alternatives Federal Credit Union, where the focus was on developing and managing a community small business development center that served over 300 clients annually. Leslie holds a pending Master of Professional Studies in International Agriculture and Rural Development from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
