Serena Sandhu

Serena Sandhu is an experienced content editor and correspondent at ITV Channel since August 2019 and has been a reporter/presenter at ITV News Anglia since March 2008, where responsibilities include self-shooting and self-editing field reports, establishing key contacts, and taking creative control of stories. Serena's background includes roles as a freelance reporter for ITN, where major national and international news was covered, and a researcher for Shiver, focusing on cold cases. Previous experience also includes reporting for ITN during significant events and serving as an early morning presenter at ITV. Education includes a BJTC-accredited Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Birmingham City University and a BA in History from Lancaster University, complemented by studies at Wellesley College.
