Darrell Parkes

Darrell Parkes is a seasoned supply quality engineer with extensive experience in quality assurance and supplier management. Currently employed at ITP Aero since October 2011, Darrell focuses on quality processes and supplier development. Prior to this role, Darrell worked at Rolls Royce Hucknall from October 2011 to February 2021, where responsibilities included addressing non-conformance in the supply chain and implementing continuous improvement methodologies. Darrell’s earlier career included significant contributions as a Supplier Quality Engineer and Project Quality Manager for Bombardier Transportation, where involvement in international projects, including a secondment in South Africa for the Gautrain project, showcased expertise in quality control and assurance processes. With a strong foundation in welding and hands-on technical roles early in the career, Darrell has developed a robust skill set encompassing auditing, inspection, and problem-solving strategies in quality management.
