Maria Garcia-Villamil

Maria Garcia-Villamil has extensive experience in human resources management. Maria started their career at General Electric as a Site HR Manager before moving to Saint-Gobain as a Site HR Manager. Maria then joined sanofi-aventis as a Human Resources Manager, where they were responsible for leading HR departments and managing the closure of a site and integration of two other sites. Maria then worked at FAMAR as a Human Resources & Communication Manager, where they oversaw all HR and organizational areas and managed the acquisition of the site by FAMAR Group. Currently, they are the Head of HR MRO/Assambly & Defence Business Unit at ITP Aero, leading the HR department for In Services Support and representing the company in the European Works Council.

Maria Garcia-Villamil completed their education with a Master's Degree from Garrigues in 2013-2014. Prior to that, they earned a Licenciada degree in Psychology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid between 1993 and 1999. In 1996-1997, they participated in a Master Program in Environmental Psychology as an Erasmus student at Stockholm University. Maria also pursued studies in Organización y Recursos Humanos at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid during the same period.
