Aleksandr Palkanov

Aleksandr Palkanov has a diverse and extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Aleksandr is currently the Head of the Telecom Solutions Department at ITPS - IT Professional Solutions. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Solution Delivery at Forward-Telecom, where they established a new Worldwide Solution Delivery Department from scratch. Aleksandr also worked as a Project Director at Rostelecom, where they were responsible for the B2B/B2G sub-Program and the first commercial launch of a new solution. Before that, they were a CSI Program Manager at Ericsson, where they were a member of the Veon Digital BSS/OSS Transformation Program Management Team. Aleksandr began their career as a Project Manager at NetCracker, where they managed BSS/OSS Delivery Projects for telecommunication companies in Central America. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy General Director at Forward-Telecom, handling all aspects of BSS/OSS Solution Delivery and Customer Support. Aleksandr started their career at AVK Communications as a Project Manager.

Aleksandr Palkanov began their education in 1995 at Bauman Moscow State Technical University, where they pursued a field of study in Applied Mathematics within the Aerospace faculty. Aleksandr completed this educational program in 2001.

In 2012, Aleksandr proceeded to Moscow International Higher Business School MIRBIS (Institute), where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Telecommunications Management. Their time at MIRBIS concluded in 2014.

Additionally, Aleksandr has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. These certifications include being a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., which they obtained in July 2021. Aleksandr is also a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certified by the Project Management Institute since November 2020. Furthermore, Aleksandr has completed a training on how to implement information systems from Peoplemind. Finally, they have undergone an On the Job Training (OJT) in the area of Installation, Business Implementation, and Conversion, specifically focused on Conversion & Data Migration, at Amdocs.
