Gil Galanos is a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of itrek since April 2011. Gil was also the Founder & President of U.S. Israel Business Council (USI) from October 2010 to September 2016. Furthermore, they served as the Founding Co-Chair of IAC New York at Israeli American Council (IAC) from March 2014 to June 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Deputy Economic Minister at Israel Economic Mission to North America from 2006 to 2010. Gil also worked as a Customer Facing Project Manager at Mavenir from 2004 to 2006. In addition, they gained experience in Sales and Marketing at BioGuard Ltd from 2003 to 2004 and worked as an Information System Engineer at Intel Jerusalem from 2001 to 2003.

Gil Galanos has a diverse education history. In 1999, they attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information System Engineering. Gil successfully completed their program in 2003. In 2006, Gil attended the Merage Executive Business Leadership Program at the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business, focusing on Business Management. Gil spent a year in this program. In 2017, they attended the Columbia Business School, specifically their Graduate School of Business Executive Education. Finally, in 2018, Gil briefly studied at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, focusing on the Center for Nonprofit Management field of study.
