Cristy McKinney

Cristy McKinney, PMP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience at Itron, Inc. since May 2006, currently serving as a Senior R&D Program Manager. In this role, Cristy leads and manages international, cross-functional teams to develop innovative products within a $1.6 billion revenue stream. Past positions at Itron include R&D Program Manager, where Cristy successfully oversaw multiple New Product Introduction teams, and Sr. and Mechanical Design Engineer, focusing on the design of protective enclosures for sensitive electronics. Additionally, Cristy has experience as a Product Quality Engineer and Quality Engineering Intern, emphasizing manufacturability and product reliability. Academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Gonzaga School of Engineering and Applied Science, advising a student team on a toxic dust filtration project.
