Justin Otis

Justin Otis has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years in various industries. Justin's recent roles as a Systems Engineer at ITS, LLC and an Enterprise Architect at The Garrett Group Inc. required expertise in the development and analysis of the Department of Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF) viewpoints used for conducting gap analysis on multiple systems. Justin has also worked as a System Engineer at Aerotek, where they were responsible for developing derived requirements for Missile Defense Agency systems. Prior to this, Justin held roles as Lead Systems Architect/Engineer at Odyssey Systems and Lead Systems Architect at Oasis Systems. Justin has a background in creative services that includes roles such as Creative Director at Sixtus Publishing and Senior Graphic Designer at MacVan Publishing. Justin has also worked in the education industry as an Adjunct Faculty at Pikes Peak Community College, where they taught courses in Adobe After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, and typography. Justin is a proficient designer with skills that include creating motion design elements, transitions, animated titles, and bumps for high-end commercial video productions and DVD menus.

Justin Otis graduated from Purdue University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Graphics Technology, specializing in spatial graphics and animation. In 2017, Justin obtained a CompTIA Security+ CE certification and a TCP/IP Microcertification from Cybrary. In 2019, they obtained several certifications from MIT xPRO, including Architecture and Systems Engineering, Quantitative Methods in Systems Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering, Models in Engineering, and Architecture of Complex Systems. Justin also obtained an Intermediate Cloud Security certification from Cybrary.
