Vasiliki Tsaknaki

Vasiliki Tsaknaki is an Associate Professor in the Digital Design Department at the IT University of Copenhagen, where responsibilities include serving as Head of the AIR Lab since August 2020. Previously, Vasiliki held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher and teacher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from November 2012 to August 2020, conducting research while pursuing a PhD in Human Computer Interaction. Research interests focus on the intersection of crafting and technology, emphasizing a critical perspective on materials, tools, and design processes. Vasiliki has experience collaborating on research projects as a Visiting PhD Scholar at the Interaction Design Lab at ITU and has worked as a design assistant on innovative design education initiatives and internships in various design contexts. Educational qualifications include a Diplom Degree in Industrial and Product Design from the University of the Aegean and a PhD from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
