Fay Churchill

Fay Churchill, PhD, is currently the Lead Data Scientist at ITV since January 2022, where responsibilities include building and leading teams of data scientists, supporting ITV's data strategy implementation, and collaborating on the development of an ML Platform within AWS/Databricks. Prior to ITV, Fay served as a Data Scientist at Yorkshire Water, from February 2019 to January 2022, focusing on maximizing the benefits of Data Science products and employing NLP for customer emotion analysis. Earlier experience includes a position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of York, where Fay led a large-scale ESRC-funded project on sleep's developmental role, and as a PhD Candidate and Teaching Associate at Monash University, providing tutoring in psychology courses. Fay holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Psychology from Newcastle University and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from Monash University.
