Monica Bibbs has over 15 years of work experience in various roles related to strategic sourcing and supply chain management.

Monica is currently working as the Strategic Sourcing Director at ITW Deltar Fasteners, where they are responsible for managing negotiations and delivering improved products and lower costs through supplier management and strategic sourcing. Prior to this role, they served as the Division Strategic Sourcing Manager at the same company.

Before joining ITW Deltar Fasteners, Bibbs worked as a Category Manager at Rockfon, where they oversaw raw material sourcing and developed sourcing strategy by commodity.

Monica also has experience working at USG Corporation, where they held multiple roles, including Steel Sourcing Manager, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and Sourcing Analyst for L&W Finished Goods. In these roles, they were involved in developing and articulating strategies, leading continuous improvement projects, and analyzing spend data to enhance sourcing strategies.

Bibbs started their career as a Credit Representative at USG Corporation and later worked as a Logistics Inventory Planner, where they managed inventory consignment programs and resolved shipment issues.

Prior to their career at USG Corporation, they worked as a Financial Analyst at SSA Global, where they were responsible for managing stock options and implementing financial reporting systems.

Throughout their career, Bibbs has demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost reduction, and continuous improvement. Monica possesses strong project and change management skills and has utilized various sourcing tools and methodologies to drive constant improvement.

Monica Bibbs has a diverse educational background spanning over several years. Their highest level of education is a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which they obtained from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University between 2004 and 2006. Their field of study during their MBA was Accounting and Finance.

Prior to their MBA, Monica Bibbs earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Human Service/Psychology from National Louis University. Monica attended this institution from 1997 to 2000.

Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, Monica Bibbs completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from City Colleges of Chicago-Richard J Daley College. Monica studied at this college between 1994 and 1997.

Most recently, in 2020-2021, Monica Bibbs furthered their knowledge in the field of Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management by obtaining a CPIM (Certificate in Production & Inventory Management) from the Association of Supply Chain Management.

In addition to their formal education, Monica Bibbs holds several certifications. In 2022, they completed the A2E Business Fundamentals certification from McKinsey & Company. Monica also completed the Management Accelerator course and obtained certifications in Business Strategy and Problem Solving, all through McKinsey & Company in the same year.
