John Refaat

John Refaat started their work experience as an intern at ITWorx in June 2008. From October 2009 to March 2013, they worked as a software engineer at ITWorx. John then served as a senior software engineer at ITWORX from March 2013 to January 2018. Since January 2018, they have been working as a lead software engineer at ITWORX, responsible for implementing and supporting big data pipelines, integrating machine learning algorithms efficiently, and handling various development activities such as debugging, root cause analysis, and bug fixing.

John Refaat attended Ain Shams University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics and Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, they received an edX Verified Certificate for Probability - The Science of Uncertainty and Data in June 2021. John also obtained a certificate in Introduction to Big Data from Coursera Course Certificates in November 2015.
