Neil Powell

Neil Powell currently serves as the Director of Finance for Cloud and AI Supply Chain at Microsoft, a position held since August 2024. In addition, Neil holds board member roles at IU Credit Union and New Hope for Families in Bloomington. Prior to joining Microsoft, Neil directed the Strategic Finance Academy at Indiana University Bloomington from May 2019 to August 2024 and served as Vice President and Corporate Controller at Lattice Semiconductor. A significant portion of Neil's career was spent at Intel Corporation from June 1998 to December 2017, where various leadership roles included oversight of finance teams responsible for billions in procurement, and management of financial operations across multiple global regions and business functions. Neil earned an MBA in Finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a BA in Economics from Western Washington University.
