Swanand Patil

Swanand Patil is an experienced wildlife conservation professional with a Master's degree in Wildlife Conservation Action from Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment Education and Research. Currently serving as a Member of the IUCN-SSC Otter Specialist Group and as the Founder and Director of Arcane Conservancy, Swanand has a strong background in naturalist roles at Nature's Nest, where responsibilities included handling guest relations and conducting various trails and safaris. Previous experience includes being a Grant Awardee at Mangrove Foundation for a project on smooth-coated otters, alongside internships at Luta Innovation focused on otter monitoring and bird conservation initiatives. Swanand's education is complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from G N Khalsa College, further enhancing expertise in the field of wildlife conservation.
