Dr. Elena Mendoza

Dr. Elena Mendoza currently serves as the Senior Programme Coordinator for Farmers engagement and supply chains at IUCN. Previously, Dr. Elena held roles as a Programme Officer in the Agriculture Team at IUCN, Sustainability Coordinator at United Nations University-FLORES, Green Economy Expert at UN Environment Programme, Agriculture and Food Policy Expert at IDLO, and Associate Adviser in Sustainable Development Strategy at the International Trade Centre. Dr. Mendoza's educational background includes a Phd in Economics from the University of Hohenheim, a Master of Public Policy from the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, and a Bachelor's in Economics from Universidad de Colima.
